The weather on Howell Mountain is generally sunny and cool with twice as much winter rains. Higher altitude, warmer evenings and cooler days, rocky and porous soil conditions all translates into a rich diversity of complexity and flavor in your glass.
This wine for us was a no-brainer to select as the “One of Sixteen” to represent 2014. With a nose full of rich barrel notes- vanilla, coffee and mocha- flavors of ripe fruit with dried fig and deep, dark fruit. Extremely well balanced and sure to delight the senses. Cozy up with a glass and enjoy the mouthwatering acidity and tongue coating tannins. Indulge a bit, sip slow.
